Privacy Policy

1. Data we process

• Account data such as your email address and authentication method.
• If you use Google sign-in, the verified email address and Google account identifier required to link your account.
• Monitoring data you submit, including watch-area names, coordinates, radius, event filters and alert preferences.
• Alert records generated when live events match your rules.
• If you enable push, your device push endpoint and subscription settings are stored so we can deliver alerts. You can disable push for each device in Monitor.
• Billing references such as Stripe customer and subscription identifiers. TERRA does not store full card details.
• Contact and support information you submit through the contact form, including your name, reply email, selected topic and message.
• Security and operational logs normally generated by the web server, such as IP address, request time and user agent.
• If you allow optional analytics, Google Analytics 4 may process usage data such as page views, interactions, device/browser information and approximate location derived from network information.

2. Why we use it

We process this information to provide authentication, save your settings, perform monitoring, send requested alerts, operate subscriptions, respond to support or privacy requests, prevent abuse, secure the service and maintain service reliability.

3. Service providers and data sources

TERRA may use Google for optional account sign-in and, only with your analytics consent, Google Analytics 4 to measure service usage. TERRA also uses Stripe for subscription payments, Cloudflare Turnstile to protect the contact form from automated abuse, browser push services for optional push delivery, local hosting and mail infrastructure for service delivery, and OpenStreetMap/Nominatim when you actively search for or reverse-resolve a location. Cloudflare Turnstile may process technical browser and network information needed to perform the anti-abuse check. Live environmental and space data comes from third-party public data providers; your private watch areas are not sent to those event-data providers merely to display their feeds.

4. Cookies and local storage

Essential session cookies are used for sign-in, security and contact-form protection. TERRA also stores your cookie preference and may store interface preferences such as theme locally in your browser. Google Analytics cookies are used only after you select Allow analytics. See the Cookie Policy or reopen Cookie settings at any time.

5. Retention

Account and monitoring data is retained while your account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary for security, billing, legal or dispute purposes. Support messages may be retained as reasonably necessary to resolve the request and maintain a support record. Cached public-data and geocoding responses may be retained to improve reliability and reduce external requests.

6. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data. To make a privacy request, use the contact form. Mandatory legal or accounting retention may limit deletion of specific records.

7. Operator

TERRA is operated by Interactive Net Solutions (INS), Greece. Customer and privacy enquiries can be submitted through the contact form.
